Course Dates, Topics, and How to Sign -up

You're invited! (Yes, you can bring a friend. In fact, bring ALL of them!)

Our FALL Alpha Course begins Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 6:00 PM, with a "Celebration Dinner and Course Kick-Off" to celebrate those who completed the previous Alpha Course, and to introduce new participants to the 10-weeks of small group discovery.

Then, beginning Wednesday, September 10, Alpha will meet for 10 sessions from 6:00 - 8:30 PM, through November 12. Each session includes a Dinner, a talk, and small group discussion. Childcare for children ages 12 and under is available to Course guests.

The Alpha Weekend Away Retreat is Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26!

Following are the weekly topics:

September 10 - "Who is Jesus?"
September 17 - "Why Did Jesus Die?"
September 24 - "How Can I Be Sure of My Faith?"
October 1 - "How and Why Should I Read the Bible?"
October 8 - "How and Why Should I Pray?"
October 15 - "How Does God Guide Us?"
October 25 - Weekend Away Retreat: "Who is the Holy Spirit, What Does He Do, and How Can I Be Filled?"
October 26 - Weekend Away Retreat: "How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?" and "How Do I Resist Evil?"
October 29 - "How and Why Should I Tell Others?"
November 5 - "Does God Still Heal Today?"
November 12 - "What About the Church?"

How much does all this cost? Nothing. Its FREE*. You pay nothing for the course, material's, or child care. There is a request for a small offering to cover the meals, but that's about it.

*The one exception is the cost for the Weekend Away campground.
