To Know and Introduce Him Part II

Sermon Series:

To Know and Introduce Him Part II with Pastor Mike:

This week Pastor Mike emphasizes the goal of our faith is to truly know God. This relationship is far greater than any religious achievements, as Paul states in Philippians 3:4-8, 10, where he considers everything else as loss compared to knowing Christ. Unlike human tendencies to admire outward fancy and grandeur, God values simplicity and obedience. The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) and God's direct interaction with Israel (Exodus 20:18-21) reveal that He desires reverence, not spectacle. Furthermore, God uses ordinary people to accomplish His purposes—people like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Gideon, Ruth, Esther, Mary, and the shepherds. As 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 affirms, God chooses the weak and lowly to carry out His divine plan, demonstrating that true greatness in faith comes through humility and trust in Him.

Trusting God With What's In Your Hands with Pastor Bill Headley -  God can do powerful things with what seems small when we surrender it to Him. Like Moses’ staff, what we already have—our gifts, time, story, or willingness—can become a tool for God’s purpose. Faith begins when we stop waiting for more and trust God with what is already in our hands.

Memorial Day: A Celebration of Love & Sacrifice - Pastor Mike’s Memorial Day message honors the love, courage, and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country so that we could live with freedom, peace, and opportunity. As we remember their sacrifice, we are reminded that freedom is never free—and that the greatest act of love is laying down one’s life for others.

Graduation Sunday - Questions with Pastor Ben Romportl: In seasons of transition, our lives can feel filled with questions. Pastor Ben reminds us that peace is not found in perfect plans, next milestones, or complete certainty, but in building our lives on the Rock and trusting the One who holds our future. As pressure refines us, God invites us to take the next faithful step, shifting our focus from the ā€œwhat-ifsā€ of tomorrow to the ā€œI AMā€ who is with us today.

Mother's Day with Pastor Mike: Pastor Mike’s message highlights the lives of seven remarkable women whose faith, courage, forgiveness, and costly love changed the world in quiet and powerful ways. Through their examples, we are reminded that real greatness is not always loud or visible, but is found in obedience, perseverance, faithful service, and using whatever voice, calling, or platform God gives us for His purpose.

You Shall Be My Witnesses - Part III with Pastor Mike: We are encouraged through Pastor Mike's message that the Gospel is personal, rooted in the resurrection, centered on Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and aimed at salvation—calling every believer to live as a witness so others may know and receive Jesus.

Advice: Good or Bad with Pastor Mike: Pastor Mike walks through 1 Kings 12 to show how the advice we choose can shape the direction of our lives. Scripture reminds us to listen carefully, discern what truly matters, and pay attention to the source of the voices shaping us.
